The work consisted of completely copying the whole of the hand painted design, because as well as being broken it had been badly damaged by sandblasting, in the process of cleaning the brick work. |

Stained Glass/ Traditional Leaded-Lights (Robsons Glass, Formby)The pictures below are four of fourteen stained glass leaded-lights which we copied and reproduced for Robsons Glass. All the stained glass leaded-lights were badly damaged, only some of the original hand painted centres were reused, most of them were remade and replaced. The designs were very colourful, using several techniques were able to restore them to there full beauty!!! |

As you may understand most of the work carried out is hand made, and can become very time consuming and expensive.To see all the windows we have restored in there full beauty is fantastic!As most people will replace this type of work with new double glazing and plastic film!!!!! WHY? |
