Vestibules

The pictures and sketches depicted on this page, show how all the different types of etched glass we manufacture may be placed in internal and external vestibules.

Etched glass is used in a lot of Victorian and Edwardian period properties.

The etched glass reflects light into areas where there is not a lot of natural day light coming through.

Also there are no restrictions on designs, as we find in most Victorian or Edwardian properties we have helped restore seem to use allot of these types of glass throughout the whole of the property.


	The Victorian Vestibule above is displaying design number P20/Border Centre, VP2 Fleur Borders and brilliant cut glory star corners in the door panels, design number VP2 Fleur in the side panels and Etched panel P20 with a border in the Fanlights above the door.


	We also make etched house numbers and etched house names to for exterior fanlights, or exterior vestibules Price On Application. Please forward details of the house number or house name you require to sales@artglass.org.uk

	Example The Victorian Vestibule to the left is displaying design number P2 in the door panels, design number VP6 Silbeck in the side panels and a house number 12 with a P5 border in the Fanlight.

	Example The Sketch To The Right Depicts An External Vestibule With An Etched Fanlight With The House Number 5 /Clear Border And Victorian Etched Starlight In The Side-panels.

		If you would like to restore a Vestibule back to it’s original form, send us some pics of your vestibule and some approximate measurements of the glass from this we will draw up some sketches and price the work up for you. please e-mail your enquiries to sales@artglass.org.uk

The pictures to the left depict an etched glass side panel and a fanlight option using our border design C3, you may have any of the above borders applied to your glass.

The borders are copied from original Victorian etched glass.

The borders are an extra some of our customers have borders applied to their door panels to enhance the overall coverage of the design They are mainly used in oversized Victorian doors or Sidepanels P.O.A.
